Welcome to the Queen-Rearing Calendar, a dedicated tool designed to assist beekeepers in efficiently planning, tracking, and managing the queen-rearing process. Whether you're a seasoned beekeeper or new to the craft, this calendar is your guide to ensuring the health and productivity of your colonies.

Getting Started:

1. Select Your Starting Point:

  • Graft Day: If you know the day you'll be grafting larvae into cell cups, select "Graft Day" from the dropdown menu.

  • Hatch Day: If you prefer to start planning from the expected hatch day of the queens, select "Hatch Day" instead.

2. Choose the Date:

  • Use the date picker to select the appropriate date based on your chosen starting point. This date will serve as the reference point for generating the queen-rearing schedule.

3. Generate Your Schedule:

  • Click the "Generate Schedule" button to create a custom queen-rearing timeline. The calendar will display key milestones and activities, ensuring you don't miss any crucial steps in the queen-rearing process.

Navigating Your Schedule:

  • View Key Milestones: The generated schedule outlines important dates, such as when to graft larvae, check for queen cells, introduce queens to mating nucs, and more.

  • Track Progress: Use the calendar to monitor each stage of the process. Each task is timed to optimize queen development and mating success.
